The men’s Hover Spin snowboard boot from Northwave with Spin closure system. Slightly softer than the Decade and a little more comfortable these would suit intermediate to advanced riders who like a bit of Freestyle and are looking for a BOA type closure.

• CLOSURE: Spin
  Ultra high molecular Polyethylene (used on kites, parachutes and bullet-proof jackets) gives faster response to torsional force. It provides a durable performance at lighter weight avoiding pressure points. Turn the knob to tighten the lacing system. 25% faster compares to other mechanical reel closure systems. To tighten the boot only 15 turns are necessary rather than 20 turns by Boa.
  
• SOLE: Lightstep sole
  The new Lightstep Outsole is the result of dedicated research and development looking seeking high-performing materials with a specific weight lower than average sole materials. The Outsole is now 35% lighter compared to a traditional snowboard outsole. It can keep a perfect grip thanks to the new structure and to the new gripping design geometry, which has been studied with innovative materials, in order guarantee a higher abrasion resistance. On top of that it provides a perfect thermal isolation, protecting the feet from the cold outside, and it constantly cushion every vibration and impact.
• HEEL RETENTION SYSTEM: 540° Heel retention system
  It combines a arch shaped lace loop which improves lace load distribution to the webbing plus a fabric tape directly connected to the front tongue of the boot. Consequently is possible to transmit a stronger power of closure in the upper part of the foot and along the ankle surface and when you pull the lace, the tongue is brought automatically down in order to provide a bomb proof heel retention performance.
